    ACQUSITION - the price of on-site data capture

    All of our on-site surveys are quoted as a fixed cost. Made up of 1/2  day (4hrs) or full day (8hrs) duration.
    Typically between 60 and 150 scans per day would be expected to be captured, depending on the scan intensity and colour options. All scan data is then processed and delivered as a fully registered point cloud. 

    PointSCAN understand that it may not always be possible to undertake our 3D laser surveys during normal operating hours. Therefore our on-site services are available 24/7 with no uplift to our standard survey rates.

    DOCUMENTATION - cost of data delivery

    PointSCAN offer fixed and flexible rates for the production of 2D & 3D documentation. Working from registered point clouds and visual imagery our CAD team can reproduce designs with the highest accuracy.

    It is important to note that CAD resources and costs increase the higher the levels of detail required. In addition to having a direct influence on file sizes.  Experience has taught us that it may not however be necessary to include the highest level of detail within your project. For this reason, both our 2D and 3D documentation are costed dependent upon the level of detail required, safe in the knowledge that the original scan data can always be referenced and reproduced should it be needed.

    We offer 4 standard levels of detail or LOD which can be individually applied to a document. In many cases multiple levels of detail can be applied to avoid unnecessary modelling, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
